RENDEZ-VOUS BY MARCIN JANOS KRAWCZYK WON THE FIRST PRIZE AT THE FESTIVAL IN SWITZERLAND22.09.2008

Short documentary "Rendez-vous" directed by Marcin Janos Krawczyk won yesreday the First Award at the Look and Roll Film Festval in Olten, Switzerland. The jury concluded uninanamously to award the first prize to a mini-masterpiece of outstanding and conception. A film that distinguishes itself through wonderful storytelling, music, photography and direction. It manages to convey a universal message. Any of us could be sitting at the same table. A bond is created between the characters and the audience. The flowing boundary between reality and fiction creates a powerful authenticity.

Polish exposition at Film Market in La Rochelle

19th International Documentary Film Market “Sunny Side of the Doc” started on  Tuesday, June 24th. The Market, which takes place in La Rochelle in France, is one of the biggest and the most important event for documentary film professionals. 52 PERCENT BY SKALSKI WINS IN SPAIN!23.02.2008

Short documentary "52 percent" by Rafal Skalski, student of Polish Film School in Lodz, received main award at Punto de Vista Film Festival in Pamplona (Spain). The film was awarded in "Short Documentary" category. It nis another success of polish document on this young film festival - last year''s winners include Tomasz Wolski, who received "Best Director" award for his film "Clinic".

Rendez - Vous in Italy04.04.2007
Documentary film "Rendez - Vous" directed by Marcin Janos Krawczyk has been selected for the competition run of the international festival again. This time it will be screened on Shadowline Salerno Film Festival which takes place between 4 and 12 May. "Rendez - Vous" is going to be presented within the frames of Corto Europa Section. "Corpus Christi" and "Siberian Guide" in competitive section of Dialektus Festival10.03.2007
Another two films represented by Krakow Film Foundation have been selected to competitive section of the international festival! This time "Siberian guide" directed by Maciej Migas, Jedrzej Morawiecki and "Corpus Christi" dir. Adam Sikora will be screened abroad on the European Documentary and Anthropological Film Festival "Dialektus" in Hungary. The first film tells the story of the Siberian City of Sun and followers of Vissarion. "Corpus Christi" depicts modern Silesia and its inhabitants who struggle with poverty. Films from Andrzej Wajda School in Canada! 08.03.2007
Two documentaries directed by students from Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing have been selected to be screened on the Hot Docs Festival in Toronto. "By the river" dir. Magda Kowalczyk together with "Rendez – vous" dir. Marcin Krawczyk, which recently becomes more and more popular, will be presented within the frames of "Spotlight on Central and Estern Europe" section. JEAN VIGO PRIZE FOR TOMEK WOLSKI!03.03.2007
Tomek Wolski – director of a documentary "The Clinic" has made the grade again, this time abroad. He has been awarded with the Jean Vigo Prize for the Best Director at "Punto de Vista" International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra. The Prize was handed in by the daughter of legendary French artist – Luce Vigo. Jury of the Spanish festival has pointed out directors' approach to the characters that was considered to be particularly cordial and sensitive. Congratulation!

"ALL DAY TOGETHER" IN ARAB EMIRATES02.03.2007
Organizers of the 6th Emirates Film Competition, which will be held from 7th to 13th March in Abu Dhabi, have decided to present to the audience of the festival Polish document "All day together" directed by Marcin Kosza3ka. Film will be screened in frames of the special section "Road Cinema". The Emirates Film Competition is organized by the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi UAE and up to now is the only review of short and documentary movies in this region. Six polish documentaries have been chosen for competitive section of MEDIAWAVE International Film Festival - "Another Connection" 2007. These films are: "The Seeda" dir. Wojciech Kasperski, "Corpus Christi" dir. Adam Sikora, "The Reflection" dir. Magda Kowalczyk, "At the datcha" dir. Thierry Paladino,, "The Clinic" dir. Tomasz Wolski and "Suburban Train" dir. GRAND PRIX FOR "SUBURBAN TRAIN" !13.02.2007
"The Suburban Train", represented by the KFF was a big winner at the closing ceremony of the 15th Cinerail – Metro and Train on Film Festival in Paris.
