"Florence Fight Club"
What may a vigorous son of a butcher, a calm computer designer and a young black immigrant have in common? They all want to take part in the Florence football tournament noted for its extreme brutality. They are driven by various motives: a need to cultivate a long-lasting tradition, a desire to face the darker side of one’s personality, a need to prove oneself and others that they are part of the local community. Florence’s festival of testosterone is an important event in the life of this respectable Tuscan city.
